Letter of Invitation to Mr. Shelver Chen,

born on Jan. 14th, 2000,

master student at/graduated from Tongji University,

Dear Mr. Shelver Chen,

I have reviewed your background and your experiences would be closely fitting to our researches. I am very pleased to invite you to study as a doctoral student under my supervision for 4 years in our research group, Department of Internal Medicine, University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg, Germany.

Your research stay in our department is supposed to begin from September 2026 to September 2030. The topic of your doctoral thesis will be “The Potential Thesis Topic “. You will be expected to initiate and complete the experiments, and I will guide and supervise you and will be available for consultation. The goal of your study is to receive a doctoral degree from the University of Heidelberg. There is no tuition fee for the doctoral study. The working language in our department is English and you can write your thesis in English. Based on our interview on December 1st, 2025, I believe that your English is fluent enough to undertake research studies in our research group.

Please note that we are not able to provide you any salary during your study and stay. Financial support cannot be provided by our Institute. You have to arrange all financial aspects (health insurance, liability insurance, housing, food, transportation, etc.) by your own.
